Pest Alert

If you see or suspect
a new incursion of bees or a new bee pest
at an airport, seaport, in your community or anywhere in Australia,
REPORT IMMEDIATELY

Any bee coming into Australia may carry
unwanted bee pests and diseases.
Early detection is vital for early destruction

and the
protection of our Australian bee populations

Bee Swarms

If you have a swarm of bees you wish to have removed, phone Qld Dept Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF). 
You will be assisted with the contact of a beekeeper in your area who has registered with the Department to respond to reports of bee swarms.

Calls are answered outside these hours by a third party who will take your message and organise a response from a biosecurity officer as soon as possible, depending on the urgency of the report.
